Made In Milwaukee. Shaping the World.

Our Campaign Priorities:

    Student Success

THIS IS WHY: The College of Health Sciences has more than 2,000 students pursuing 27 different degree and certificate programs in athletic training, biomedical sciences, communication sciences and disorders, health care administration, health care informatics, kinesiology, nutritional sciences, occupational studies, and physical therapy. Scholarships for undergraduates and fellowships for graduate students help us attract high-quality students and keep them in our program. Support for equipment大奖娱乐官方网站主页 helps us keep up with technological advances while providing students with essential hands-on instruction.

    Research Excellence

THIS IS WHY: More than 80 of our faculty and staff work in 30-plus research and instructional laboratories and six research centers. Endowed professorships are a great honor for faculty and allow the school to direct money that would have been spent on salaries toward other school needs. Student research positions have become a key tool in attracting promising graduate students as well as top-tier faculty who need support to conduct their research. Support for research projects helps our faculty and students transform ideas into tangible, life-changing solutions.

    Community Engagement

THIS IS WHY: Hundreds of community partners collaborate with us on clinical training, community advocacy, internships, mentorships, research, and scholarships. The College of Health Science provides community services related to areas such as hearing loss, speech-and-language disorders, and physical therapy for cancer patients. Support for international partnerships helps foster UWM’s identity as a globally engaged university and enables more students to take part in internships, research projects, and humanitarian work abroad. Gifts to travel funds allow our students and faculty to attend conferences of prominent, national academic organizations.

大奖娱乐官方网站主页My education enabled me to have a successful career in the health care field and to go on to promote healthful cooking to the public as a TV cooking show host. This campaign will strengthen the College of Health Sciences in preparing more health care professionals to make their mark on the world.
